Ingredients
Fries
- 2 russet potatoes, washed and cut into fries
- Avocado oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Paprika
- Nutritional yeast (optional – adds great flavor and texture!)
- 1 pack Whole30-compliant bacon (no sugar)
Anti Mac Sauce
- ½ cup paleo mayo
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp pickle relish
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Burger Patties
- 1 lb grass-fed ground beef
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- Garlic powder
For Assembly
- Spring greens
- Sliced pickles
- Sliced red onion
- Crispy bacon
- Fries
- Burger patties
- Anti Mac sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- In a large bowl, toss the fries with a light drizzle of avocado oil, then season with salt, pepper, paprika, and nutritional yeast.
- Spread fries on a parchment-lined sheet pan in a single layer. Bake for 45 minutes, flipping after 25 minutes.
- After flipping the fries, add your bacon to a separate pan and bake it on another rack for the last 15–20 minutes, or until crispy.
- In a small bowl, mix together the mayo, ketchup, relish, and garlic powder. Set aside.
- Form ground beef into 4 burger patties. Season both sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Cook in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 3–4 minutes per side, or until done to your preference.
- Layer the following into a bowl or plate: A handful of spring greens, sliced pickles and onions, one or two burger patties, a couple strips of bacon, a generous scoop of fries, a drizzle of Anti Mac sauce.
